Think of a collection as a playlist of items that go well together. Those items can be from different sources around the web and in different formats (books, videos, and so on). For example, a collection might consist of two PDF textbook chapters, four short videos, a math practice app and a math practice game that all work really well together to master a given concept.

Collections are a great way to take individual items and assemble them into something more comprehensive and useful to others who want to learn a concept or subject area.

When on the LearnCloud, you can view content and collections by toggling between the two top center tabs labelled "Content" and "Collection" to see first hand the difference.
